umaun software was founded in 2008 in the engadin, the beautiful alpine valley region of Switzerland.

Based on some twenty years of experience in software development and consulting, we started with software for mobile devices, database applications and interfaces between applications.

We love open source.

We also develop appliances on the basis of open source software for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME/KMU). We use different linux distributions depending on the needs. Based on servers from leading european hardware manufacturers.

The product portfolio comprises of Firewalls, Database-Server, Productivity Platforms, Messaging Platforms enabling secure team collaboration, Asterisk (PBX) with FreePBX as web-based GUI for control and management and others.
